Tool bar items in the way

First, I really love and appreciate this site.

Wish you would move the following tool bar items:
Forums
Reviews
Videos
Classifieds
Articles



These should be moved from the top tool bar to the one below it. The reason is they get in the way when I am trying to navigate.

Example: I am always looking at "Today's Posts". However; when I mouse over to it if I am not really careful the "Forums" pull down appears. This covers up "Today's Posts" and I must mouse away to remove the "Forums" pull down.

Maybe you have another solution. It is just annoying for these pull down items to be in the way of what I am trying to do.

I don't have a problem with them. Not as annoying and makes me be careful where the mouse pointer is going.
I have grown accustomed to the tool bar items being where they are, and hope there isn't a change. Seems I don't like "change"

I can easily see what you mean, but had never thought about it before because I never use "Today's Posts". Instead, I use "Since My Last Visit" regularly. So I like it the way it is.

"Todays posts" and 'todays active threads" are actually the same. It hard to design a website that makes all people happy. Just look at it as a little extra exercise while you are on the site!:laughing:

I never use "Today's Posts". Instead, I use "Since My Last Visit" regularly. So I like it the way it is.

We're considering removing the pop-out menus to speed up the site... not that we've gotten a lot of complaints, but we haven't gotten much positive feedback either.

Click on either "Today's Posts" or "Today's Active Threads" from the "Forums" drop-down menu ... & then save that page to your browser's "Favorites" list.
