Just came in from doing interim blow @ 8-10". Cab is a lifesaver in these blizzard conditions. Only problems were; had to plan blow direction because of high wind, and about 5 1/2' is limit of blown pile unless I want to turn my snow blower into a snow fountain...:D

With current wind conditions, can't you just blow it straight up and let the wind take it away?:D

I live in Potomac, MD, and have a B3030 with a FEL and a 72" Woods rear blade. It has performed incredibly in the last two storms, and now this one.

I haven't had any problems with R4's filled. I have plowed well over a dozen driveways several in excess of 200' with hills.

For anyone interested in a 3 minute video of our three horses playing in this snow. The video was taken as my wife let them out from being locked up in their stalls all night.

Your horses are quite playful and fun to watch!

I wish I had a driveway. My other house did, the B did quite well there. On gravel it is a whole different world.

With the wind, I get to do it all again in the AM. I might open my other driveway, it is tree lined and not out on the tundra. :)

Your poor pup kept saying "HEY, Come play with me!!":)

She sure was and if you noticed, each time she thought they were coming to play with her, she would run for it. She's brave from a distance but runs like crazy when they get near her. I wish one of my other dogs was like that. He's been kicked a couple of time that should have killed him.

So the horse is O.K.

Thanks they are fine, They roll no matter what the conditions are. I wasn't watching and when I turned around all I saw was the horse on the ground. I thought for a second, maybe she freaked.

Back on the snow topic, my little B8200 was able to clear a 5' wide path, going downhill, but then I had 2-3' banks of snow on both sides, and I needed to get about 9' clear so an oil truck can get up here for some fuel/heat! A neighbor, using his big old J D farm tractor, with chains, was able to work his way up the lane and clear a path. I am buying chains, this morning. Filling my turf tires sounds like a good idea, too. Of course, by the time I get the chains delivered, it may be spring. A wet one, since all our snow equals about 8" of rain, they say.

Twice in one year...Too far NORTH to get any snow. Unbelievable!

We got hit with just over 25inches and 3 days later another 8 over the last week. When it's this deep with a BX2350 the only other choice I think would be a snow blower. Wonder if all this snow will be melted by May(lol)!

Just a follow up report: seems that everybody that sells tractor chains is out of stock of the size I need ( 13.6 x 16 ) so I guess I will hope we don't get any more killer snow storms this year, and be really prepared for next winter. I plan to coat my rear blade and bucket so the snow slides off, install chains, and sit back and wait. I attached a photo a friend sent- he's looking at his house, wondering if he will ever get to it!
