Do you think it is necessary or beneficial to have my tires on my new L3540 loaded? I will be doing a lot of dirt moving, mulching of branches with an 800lb pto chipper, backhoe work. My property is hilly, wooded and alot of off camber sections. If loaded, should I load all 4. Pros and Cons??? Thanks!

I think weight on the rears is a good idea. Its an even better idea if you intend to do loader work with nothing, or not much, on the back. The BH will balance your loader well but you will likely do a lot of work with the BH off too.

You can load them two ways. Wheel weights or fluid. Fluid is cheap. You can do it yourself too. It is very simple.

My L4400 manual says not to load the fronts. Don't know why. Check your manual.

Cons? Well, you have to put something in there that will not freeze (depending on where you live). Many options. I chose water with antifreeze in it. Make sure to use proper precautions when draining antifreeze (its toxic to animals). A number of people have used pure wiper fluid that they get in drums from auto parts store. You can get an attachment that hooks to a garden hose on one end and your tire valve on the other.

If you haven't taken delivery yet, just get the dealer to do it. Mine originally came loaded from the dealer even though I didn't ask for it. It was free and I was glad it was done.

I usually like to leave the BH on, just incase I need it. Especially when working at leveling the rocky clay soil on my property. The dealer says that they use some special mix that is non corrosive sort of gel like.? Don't really understand what they use.
