@HawkinsHollow

Maybe you can be the test case. You said you have 2 pivots. Grease one. Don't grease the other. Monitor them and report your findings back here. So you ruin one of the pivots. It will be worth it to solve the debate. :)
Seems like a worthy cause. But honestly most of y'all will be dead by the time I use this thing long enough to wear anything out.

Question. Do they make the pins out of a lesser material so the pin wears out before the implement? Just thought of that and it seems like a good ideea.

I would grease it for sure. Then I would grease the pins that get direct contact with grease more often, but then again, it's only 3 pins so I would most likely end up over grease the 3 pins more often. 😅

At 100hrs that pin joint on mine started to wear considerably. I drilled and tapped a grease fitting for it. Pulling it apart to grease the pin didn't seem like a long term option. I noticed the other end wearing also, but already had a fitting for it, one that I was failing to grease. As far as dirt getting to it, I wonder. The front end loader joints for the quick disconnect are right down there in the dirt also, and they get greased.
