Hi folks...new to the forum. Recently replaced the primer pump on my TN70, but can't even get fuel up to the filter bleed screw. Pump is full, but cant get fuel to go to the filter. Finally removed the filter and pumped to see of anything at all was coming from the pump...nothing. Thoughts?

You replaced the primer pump because of this problem or you now have this problem after replacing the pump? Your answer may help in diagnosis.

A couple possibilities. Did you remove the banjo fitting from the supply hose coming from the tank? Did you check and clean the holes in the banjo bolt itself? Both are common places for debris to collect.

If that checks out okay, I would put a section of 5/16 fuel hose on the fitting instead of the plastic line. Drop the other end of the hose in a jug of clean fuel and see if the hand primer will pick fuel up from the jug and move it to the filter. If it does, then look for a problem with the outlet fitting on the bottom of the fuel tank. They can get rusted up and highly restrictive.
