TL2700 starting issues

I have had very good help here so I am going to the well again if I can?

Iseki tl2700. We had to have some electrical work done from my tractor repair center and they did a very good job.

Recently we have had a issue with terminal ends on the battery and got those corrected but for some reason now when you turn the key to start it you can hear the solinoid engauge but does not turn the engine?

Not sure if we have a shim problem... a starter problem or what. Any general tips to try and whittle my problems down would be appreciated.

Have you checked the ground strap/frame connection?

Check the battery cables as Rod said, and check the connections at the starter solenoid.

Its definately the starter. I took it off and attempted to have it turn and the bendix comes out but does not turn.

Took to a starter rebuilder and said it would take 3 weeks and 225.00 which I think is too high and too long.

Any ideas here?

Go to another shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........The exact same thing happened last spring on my TL 2300. Took it to my local starter alternator repair shop...out the door with a complete rebuild for $80. He even painted it.........God bless the good guys......Dennis
