I was wondering if any one else has had any problems with the width of their tires. I have a very old very heavy 4 gang garden disk, Bradley I believe. The disk is about a 7 or 8 feet and works like a dream with multiple passes. Tractor pulls with no problem 99.9% of the time. Problem is once the dirt in certain areas becomes too powdery my 1700BD gets stuck. Easy fix using a little common sense. No problem. Just wondering if there are any comprable tire adjustments that could be made. Also wondering if any one has put wider tires and or rims (rear) or even double tires/rims with out compromising too much money or the operation of their tractor

Sure...lots of people have difficulty in sand, powdery dry soil and the like. The tires actually loose traction from sinking and burying themselves with the weight of the rear of the tractor.

The quick fix is turf or wider foot print and less aggressive tires. With your D model, matching the rolling circumference for 4WD is the only concern.
