Tire Studs

I have a rear mount snowblower on my TYM T264 and I struggle to get up the hill in my driveway. I have a set of chains for the rear but am waiting for a set of wheel spacers to arrive so I can actually use them.

But I'm thinking studs might actually work instead of the chains.

Does anybody have ant experience with the studs and how did they work out?

I love mine. Haven't put chains on since. Back up some tough spots with rear mount blower. Did all four, steering is good as well.

Which ones did you get, are the staying in?

I grooved my R4 tires with a tire groover and never installed the chains I spent $700 on.

I studded my R4's and have been happy. I added a second row on my fronts last year. Will probably add a second row on the rears this winter. Lots of ice so far.

I leave them in, haven't had any issues. None have come out.
R1 tires.

I purchased these studded tire chains about 5 years ago and wish I'd had them from the beginning instead of the 2 link tire chain I ran for many years.

I have a road mix/gravel driveway.
