Tires Tire Problem on my Zero Turn

If the tire is off the rim again use a cotton ball to check both the rim and inside of the tire for sharp objects. A remarkably small thing can wear a hole in a tube. The cotton will catch on it and show it clearly.

I have never heard of this but what a great idea! Thanks!

Wheel is at the dealer getting the new tire put on. I'm getting the old tire back and will figure out what the issue is. I agree there has to be something sticking out slightly which rubs the tube and causes the failure after an hour of mowing. Thanks for the cotton ball tip, will be doing that, and seeing if I can patch the tire from the inside for use as a spare.

Do yourself a favor and slime the new tire. I have a tractor, zero turn, riding mower, utv. All have various patches, tubes or slime. The slime ones hold the best, consistently. We have thick brush briars and quarter inch thick thorns.
Two types of slime, grab the bug container with the pump :) Slime pre-hole.

Agreed, Slime is the ticket, I keep a gallon of it handy. Seems like every time I go to use a piece equipment it has a low or flat tire, inject a little slime and problem solved.

find a different tire place cause they don't know what they are doing if they can't fix that tire

My current experience with tubes is that you need go be careful as to the country of origin. My 5th generation, tires for everything dealer used Korean tubes........wonder why? I can tell you since I have them: They work. On how much air pressure does it take to expand a tube, blow one up some time outside a tire and check the pressure......not much.
