Actually, you were fairly lucky, aside from the tires being foam filled.

I was hogging for the local recreation site. I was in a field adjacent to a residence, when a piece of steel went through the inside of the tractor tire. I was made aware of the situation, by the noise of the steel hitting the fender on every revolution and the calcium squirting on my leg. I don't want that to happen again. It wasn't cheap and those filled tires are "unruly and heavy".

Same things happened to our Case CX80 and patched them several times before we had to buy new tires. We spent several thousand dollars on four new tires and a year later the tractor went toes up and got just a couple thousand more out of it than we paid for the tires.

We use to wrestle those big tires too, but we now just call a service truck out to the field.

Sure did, I am going to have to hunt it down as I hit stuff more than once, so there are a few spots I am going to check when I finish. I have hit a set of motorcycle ramps once and a few other things.

I had mine foam a couple of years ago. I'd get flats and role offs. Since foamed nothing but happy acres around here. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
