Tire Chains

There is always one more question. I was checking out various tire chain web sites and continued to come up with same results. It seems that my tire size (26x12.00-12) only has the normal style chains not the diagonal style more aggressive chains. I would like the more aggressive if possible. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a TC 30 with R4 tires and I bought the standard chains from tirechains.com. Some of the links did fall between the tread on the R4 pattern, but I did notice a significant traction improvment in snow and ice. I only had the chains on the back tires. The chains didn't help much in deep wet clay.

You may be able to locate a supplier that will build a set of chains for you to your specifications.

The chains for my tractor [v-bar ladder type] were assembled when I ordered them. There was no stock on the shelves.:D

Chains on all four wheels of my small Kubota B7100 surely do make a difference in traction on either snow/ice or in mud of the clay variety.:D

I use chains on all four tires on my B7100. Where I plow I need all the traction I can get. I have had no problems. I have ag tires and I made my own chains by converting some old truck tire chains. I put center connectors between each set of cross links to prevent the chains from falling between the lugs of the tires.
