Tire chains / mud

Are tire chains any good in the mud. Are they better than just ag tires. Ill be putting them on my ag tired tractor. I need to get through the mud easier. thanks

Yes, tire chains are better, IMO.
What is the reason you have to drive through the mud?

Earthmoving. Mud season is coming hear in pa and everything will be muddy.

Double ring chains are the way to go for mud.

My friend has them and others here have said they are indispensable in the slop.
