a nh will out last any other round baler we have people around here still baling 1500-2000 rolls a year with some old 848 balers which is around 20 years old there is 4 to every 1 johndeere and vermeer baler

I still have an old NH 855 that did 1000 last year without a single breakdown ? I lie it did burst an oil line ?

From what people are telling me you guys with the old NH bales better keep them. These new BR series they have out now have been nothing but trouble.

the br series is junk i know a man that just replace the cv shaft twince this year at 1500 a peice they should have stayed with the 648 model style they cant be beat

Brad123, just out of curiousity does your baler have the auto oiler for the chains? Knock on wood, I haven't had any chain trouble out of my baler but it does have the oiler on it and despences a little shot of oil to the chains every time a bale is dumped.

Our baler has an auto oiler but we switched to 60 and 80 heavy chain and have had better luck.. Expensive but but works better.. We are dissapointed just cause this was to be the toughest baler out there but have yet to see it

Mine came with mostly 80 chains on it from the factory. I think it has one 60 on it. The rest are big and haven't given me any trouble so far.
