1*Why didn't you just buy a BX1500 with the 48" mower deck?
2*Why did you buy the Cub Cadet?

1*That was the original idea except for the mower; till the MTD Power Craft died on me.
I was using it to mow where I couldn't mow with the BX23.
Didn't need a mower for it as I had the Power Craft.
2*Ths new CC was $5050 with a tiller and a front blade and a 54'' mower.
The bx1500 with a tiller and a front blade without any mower was $8500 .
I can buy another CC without a mower and use my 54'' deck and have less in the 2 tractors and the attachments than the cost of a BX1500 and I still wouldn't have a mower or the extra tractor with a BX1500 at $8500 .

Now, I didn't look it up, however, I heard that MTD owns cub cadet and that they cheapened the cub cadet to where it is equal to a Sears rider...

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?
Yeah but it's not quite together yet.
I still need to put a power lift on the CC to lift and lower the front blade.
then find a new or a good used CC tractor that willl work with my new 54'' CC deck.

I have an L-39 and a B7200D.

The B7200D has earned its keep 10 fold over.

I will replace it with a similar sized tractor when that time comes. I would make sure its replacement had plenty of heft, power steering, and a real strong loader for its size. I hate to betray Kubota orange but the NH TC23DA/TC26DA are the right size.
Also Kioti's small 20 hp machine looks beefy, but the B7610 is also a nice machine.

A small tractor with a 4' wide bucket keeps my rakes, hoes, and shovels slighty rusty as they should be from limited use.

I priced a BX1500 for $8500 at my dealer .
This was with a tiller and a front blade but no mower.

How much without the front blade and tiller?

How much can you get a BX1500 for?

I priced out a BX1500 with the mower deck, tiller, and front blade, and 50 hour service for $7800.

I guess that they would knock off an additional $2500, if not more. This saleswoman really likes me and wants my business.

Well, I have a Kubota L3410 and it does about everything well, but is often smaller than I would desire. More FEL lift, more PTO power, more weight, etc. NEVER have wanted smaller.

I also have a Ford TLB with a 14' depth hoe. I wish is was lighter when fueling up the Duramax .... but way heavier when using it. Twice I have wished the shop door was taller by about 3'. Oddly, those time coincide with the header for the door getting dented....

Then again, I only use the equipment for ag and forestry.
