Timber Frame Tractor Barn

I want to build a timber-frame barn using rough-sawn pine or hemlock. It will be located in central Vermont. Anyone done anything similar? Termo

Yes I have done lots of "Timber frame". Its fun an very rewarding,(time consuming),but worth it in the end. I think there's a plane in new England that teaches school. I learned by looking an studying pics of true timber frame. I do use fasteners like carriage bolts an lague bolts, (not pegs)I do lots of notching an such.I allways had problems getting the size I wanted to work with.So a few years ago I built my own band saw mill,Now if I need say a 6x8 12 footer. I saw it
