Tiltmeters-Why Not?

I put one on my L3010 and initially found it very distracting...I'd watch it on slopes instead of giving my undivided attention to the type of terrain I was traversing.

Lately I find myself checking it less often, but mostly because I have the slopes on my property memorized now.

I put one on my JD 4100 and it really helps put slopes and the "pucker factor" in perspective.

At first, I found myself checkin the tiltmeter all of the time. After a couple hours on the tractor, I only looked at it when the "pucker factor" emerged. Mine usually starts around 10degrees.

I view it as another idiot light. Catches your attention so that you pay attention. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
