Tiller

I am assuming that the tiller that came with my Satoh S370D is a Mitsubishi. It is pretty solid and the tines seem to be in good shape. I tried it in some black gumbo that was pretty wet and it tilled it up without much struggle. I haven't been able to find any name or numbers on it but the paint looks original and is powder blue. The tractor lifts it easily and the shaft runs anti-clockwise. Can anyone help me with any info or an owners manual for this machine?

Is it mounted to the tractor on the three point hitch or a "2 point" hitch bracket that is bolted to the rear of the transmission? Three point hitch mounting are typically aftermarket. The 2 point bracket type is usually Mitsubishi. Bill - satohparts.com

It is mounted to the tractor with a 2 point hitch and turns anti-clockwise. Can these be reversed by relocating the drive case from one end to the other? This one has an adjustable beam on top but whatever was attached to the rear of it is missing so the depth can only be adjusted with the lift. Might there have been some kind of wheel assembly on the rear?

At one time your tiller had two caster wheels mounted on a large "wishbone" style frame. I sell a operators manual for the 2PR-1100s tiller that was mounted on the S370. Call me at 1-800-609-5110. Bill

Thanks Bill. I will be contacting the former owner of the tractor and tiller next week to see if he might have any of the parts that are missing. I will call about the manual.
