Tiller Durability? Roots?

My Landpride RTA2562 which I purchased May 1, 2008 is still running strong with not a single problem. Understandably, after 11 years of use, the tines are showing signs of wear due to the rocky soil conditions native to my area.

It's been one tough 'tiller. Two passes, one pass each in opposite directions, makes even old hay ground ready for planting a garden.

King Kutter is one of the least expensive tillers out there and is well built. The Landpride 12 series on the other hand is the low end of an expensive name brand line with known unresolved manufacturing issues the company refuses to correct.

I have a 5' King Kutter, and it is built like a tank!

I got tines from Messicks for our tiller last year. You would need to start by finding your model and serial number to find a parts diagram and know what part number to look for.

Hello community!

I have a "hand-me-down" Land Pride rotary Tiller that is in need of a full tine replacement. I am new to servicing a rotary tiller and not sure where to begin looking for replacement tines. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase?

Find out if you have a Landpride dealer within driving distance. Shipping is a killer on a full set of tines and hardware. A dealer should be able to get the parts in on a stock order with no freight cost to you. You may have to wait for them to accumulate the required minimum order, but it should work that way, then you can pick them up there.
