Tiller Drive Shaft Sheared Off

Bought this tractor and tiller used from a dealer. First few hours of use were in packed Carolina clay but minimal to no rocks or tree roots. Heard a commotion from the gear case popped it off and found this. Not sure what to do next, don稚 know if this has a warranty, if it痴 covered, how much it would cost to replace, etc. it痴 a smartract tl-135.

Highly likely. It looks to be the same as a Hanmey. I知 still looking around.

You are seeing something that I'm not...

I've seen enough broken/twisted off china steel in tillers to recognize that right away though...and NO slip clutch or shear bolt will save that...

yep, China steel is the cause!.. you just have to keep replacing it when it breaks, keep a few replacements ready so you minimize the downtime!..

Yup, oil looks milky. Does the rotor part spin freely?

Chinese make an oil out of fish, it always looks a bit milky, i'm guessing it's used because it's cheeeep!

Fix that turd and send it down the road!!!
