tie rod

i have noticed that the tie rod on my 3110d has a slight bow in it. Should it be this way or should it be straight. If it is bent can it be straightened or should I just buy another one.

If it is just a slight bow I wouldn't worry about it even if it is supposed to be straight. If your front wheels aren't tracking straight you can adjust the ends.

And if necessary, they can easily be straightened. Mine got badly bent, threw it in a big vice and hammered it straight, painted it and it's been fine for the last 6 or 7 years.
