Was out plowing snow today with my:rolleyes: 2305 and kept having to push throttle lever back to maintain power. The lever is creeping back! Have checked the bolt that lever rides on and that is good and tight. Visually inspected throttle cable to body on engine, that appears good. Spring appears to have good tension. The machine has 100+ hours. Any ideas or thought of fix??

You need to tighten the nut(parts key 14) to put more tension on spring washers(parts key #13). Parts key # 6 is a friction plate.

Had the same problem wit my 4310, I replaced the friction washers an the lock nut and that took care of it.
