Snowblower Three point rear snowblower? Good, Bad?

/ Three point rear snowblower? Good, Bad? #21
In all the years - 27 - that I had the blower, I always wished we would get a great, fantastic snow storm so I could really use the blower. We never did and the deepest I ever saw with the blower was around 30" - barely a challenge.
In all the years I've used mine, I wished I never had to..lol..

I have used two different PTO blowers over the years. Both have worked fine and the backing up never bothered me but I am only 64 so maybe it will when I get old.

The first was a McKee 84" double auger two stage blower behind a Ford 4400 open station with a live PTO. The tractor was a little under powered for that size blower but as long as I watched my speed I could work my way thru about anything I needed to.

Currently I have a WIFO 78" single auger two stage blower behind a Mahindra 2565 with cab and live PTO. This combination works well due to the tractor having a bit more power and a few more reverse gears so I can match my speed to the amount of snow and condition of the snow.
