Three Point Hitch valve issue

Hi,
Has anybody else had any issues with the valve that controls the speed of the raising and lowering of their 3 point hitch? Mine locks up all the time.. You then have to fiddle with it for several minutes, sometimes shut down the tractor and restart it.. Fiddle with it some more before it finally unsticks and begins to allow the 3ph to drop? Irritating..

Havent had that problem. Must be some trash in the valve. Might be able to take out the stem completely and see if you can flush any thing out of it.

Had the same issue I think.
On mine (G3033) , approx 3 inches behind the valve knob is a lock/ jam nut that either has come loose or was never properly
tightened.
The knob turns freely both ways and if you can completely unscrew it that is likely your problem.
Remove the 4 bolts holding the seat for easy access .

Interesting. Thanks for the advice.. I need to replace the seat safety switch this weekend anyways as it broke off and I had it jumpered while waiting for the replacement switch from the dealer.. I will check that out this weekend..
