For less than 8K, I can buy a TLB that if needed, I can easily get parts for and will actually do some decent work!!!

My neighbor sold a pretty decent Case MFWD extendahoe for 8K...

Hmmm, are you sure you are not the seller? Can't see any other reason you believe that comb is a great deal.

OP in Florida, tractor in California. :)

It's perfect for someone that has small projects and is limited on funds. I'd buy it and love every second of using it knowing that I was getting the job done and didn't have a tractor payment.

The pyramids weren't built using only John Deeres and Kubotas

The problem people are having with it is that it's just as expensive as a real TLB of similar vintage or a more modern compact TLB with a proper subframe. Value is not about the number of dollars, it's about what you get for them.

He's priced himself out of the local market, for sure. I'm near him, and think he'd have a tough time getting half of his asking price.

Resorting to flea bay, looking for top dollar from someone too lazy to do proper research on value. So funny to see at a farm auction, guys get tunnel vision.

He's also got it posted on other sites, according to the description. Casting a wide net looking for that whale.

Since I don’t have a slave crew of hundreds of thousands I’ll have to attempt to make up the difference with my real TLB. Even comparing it to something similar in size a Kubota B26 will make a fool out of that machine. It’s definitely not a good deal. You have a old machine with virtually zero chance of finding parts that’s 2wd. You have a homemade backhoe with a cobbled up mount, and a homemade loader that looks pretty fair. There’s a good reason why almost every machine in that size class with a loader are 4wd.

And? I mean, really one has nothing to do with the other. ;P

I will add this, its a good thing Mary Shelly's copyright is so old, or man there would be some , err, stop me, gotta say it, oh heck, well, - monster - litigation.

It was suggested that the OP owns the tractor.

If that's worth 6k, my bx1860 with loader, backhoe and mmm must be worth 18k. LOL.

Yep, I certainly 'suggested' that the OP was the owner and seller. Usually when someone posts about a 'great find' and continuous on about all its virtues, particularly when you have a Frankenstein's monster, I believe it is the seller sneaking in posts where they are not allowed. As to OP having CA in one place and FL in another, well, even if true, has no meaning.
