Did my first snow removal on the driveway today, around a foot of light fluffy snow. Took a while, mainly cuz i'm on my first tractor, first try at using the bucket, and still learning. Using float worked to point, started getting comfortable with Where the cutting edge was, back dragging, etc. still think a plow or blower would work better though.

A plow is a lot faster. No question about it.

You may want to start with a rear blade...7ft.for your tractor. Not perfect but better than just the bucket.I have and use a front and rear blade.

Rear blades work okay for up to around 5 or 6 inches, even driving forward. During our snowmageddon 4 years ago, it was slow going with the FEL. THEN a snow blower would have been the best. Had a good one in the ole square chuter that I had for the Gravely.

First off welcome to TBN neighbor..I live just on the other side of mountain from you.

Do you have long driveway etc.? Do you have enough room to keep snow banks push back? What type plow setup..hyd. or old style man. or do it yourself setup? Attach plow to bucket or quick release?

Blower..front or rear? Can you add extra lighting for night blowing? If not cab on tractor do you have warm suit and head gear?

Are the back tires loaded also set of tires chains if needed?

I made up Meyers 8' plow to fit my bucket also Woods 72"rear scraper blade for pulling snow in tight areas, for me the setup cats meow, for snow plow my driveway etc. also neighbor.

Try a rear like plow like this one.

Rear blade? I'm in NH too and snow like last weekend will overwhelm one of those.

Yup, manual angle adjustment much like a grader blade.

A buddy of mine's grandfather made it from an old truck plow years ago.
