Things I have learned from TBN

Thanks to this forum and it's members, I have just recently built a snow plow for my John Deere 4100. I have to thank member Kennyd for this idea. My Dad and I actually built two of these this past weekend. One for his JD 790 and one for mine. We had a little snow over the weekend so I was able to test it out before I painted it.

I also made a hitch for my ballast box so I could move a couple trailers around without disconnecting the box. This was also an idea I discovered on TBN.

I ran out of JD Green, so I just put some black paint on it for now. I'm thinking about welding on some chain holders to the box later, so I can just paint it all at once. The chain I keep on the top of the box bounces out occasionally. Another project from TBN to work on!

It is a manual angle plow. I may add power angle to it at a later date. I like the way you did your set-up. Anything you would do differently now that you have used it for awhile?
