No rest for the Wicked, man!
You certainly have used it, Eric. How many hours do you have on your Legendary NX6010?
Travis

Not too many Travis. Something around 580ish hours and much of that time is easy loader work using your Version 1.0 72" Wicked Root Grapple. Spending too much time on the water during summers.

Eric,
580 hours? That's still longer than a summer in MN. ;)

Lid cylinder is fine. The problem is all the pulling, tugging and twisting getting trees out of the ground tweaked the grapple a little. Unscrewing the clevis on the end of the cylinder to give a longer stroke let the lid close fully. I'm not happy with only having half of the clevis threads engaged. Could go with a 5" cylinder instead of the 4" but that will reduce distance the grapple opens. Not sure I can un-tweak the grapple without damaging the hitch or loader. Could take it see if I can find a body shop that would put it on their frame rack and give it a tug. I look at my options one being to do nothing :anyone:

My options would be very simple, the friend who borrowed it and then tweaked it would be purchasing me a replacement.
No questions asked other than when does my new grapple come and where do you want this old one as I deliver it to his place.

It is very refreshing to hear that customer service is alive and well someplace. God knows it is hard to find these days!

I have ZERO reservations about recommending EA to anyone. My customer service dealings with them have been nothing short of stellar: I had one "event" in which EA was totally not responsible yet they rectified the problem. My only complaint is that I don't have more money to buy more EA equipment! :D

I've got 336 hrs on my NX. I recently had one of my loader lift cylinders blow out a rod (had it rebuilt and now back in full operation). I blew it out while using my EA grapple. Grapple was unfazed.

Speaking of dogs and why tractor hours aren't being racked up faster- My puppy can't stay out of water. Nor can she stay out of any equipment! (cleaning up a ditch- with water flowing in it she runs up and down, splashing like crazy, curving along like it's a luge course!)

I'm with you DieselBound I need some extra cash to buy myself a few more attachments. Maybe Santa will be generous this year.

Thanks for the kind words, guys!

Recently, in the EA Channel Group, Kevin from GA showed us how helpful his 60" Single Lid Wicked Grapple is during the process of turning trees into firewood and making piles of it.

It also makes quick an easy work of those pesky pallets!

I am continually amazed by the Wicked Awesome feedback. Hard work and the best customer service in the industry keeps paying off and we're truly GRATEFUL for you guys.

Larry from Illinois emailed these kind words and awesome pics. It is hard to believe a John Deere 3720 is capable of moving logs like this. Optimally matched Wickedness makes it possible!

"It is very refreshing to be able to order a product and receive it as described. I lifted a oak tree trunk that just fit in the jaws and was about 20' long. The grapple held it great."
