Rickey Henderson Hall of Famer… age 65.

Quite a personality and was offered several pro sports options and he credits his mom for Baseball.

He bought several cars from my dad for youths in Oakland… down payment on a dependable used car or sometimes paying in full to give those doing the right thing a leg up…

A lot of the pro sports athletes were not very approachable but Rickey was always out and about in the community.

He grew up in Oakland and Oakland was home…
