I always wanted something like this but as a pair of (channel lock type) pliers with a fork on one side and a stud on the other to grasp any size/style connector and squeeze to unseat the ball. It has always been a someday project.

I have a set of these and I like being able to direct where the fluid is going.

When it's hot there is a lot of pressure there, yes fluids don't compress but they still expand and contract with temperature variations.

True. Customer of mine in construction has been T ing in gas valves on skidsteer attachments for this very reason. Nobody has time for tools that employeees can lose or misplace but work has to go on. Now with a turn of valve the pressure is relieved.

Have several times just loosened a hydraulic hose connection to bleed off the pressure. No more messy than these connectors, but the idea and fabrication is great. Didn't look for a price tag. Don't wanna know.
