The only downside to having a cab, hmmm, wouldn't it be that everyone else wants to run your machine?

I bought one of those Echo "chainsaws on a stick" and I can walk along and trim most offending limbs from the safety of the ground. I also have a longer pole saw for those limbs that start higher and grow down. Scaffolding in a truck bed with somebody perched on top with a chainsaw is a perfect example of "sounded like a good idea at the time" that has a distinct possibility of going bad. But hey, I'm getting old and have lost a lot of my sense of adventure.....

If the scaffolding is secured a bit, strapped or whatever, to the wagon bed (not truck bed, so it makes all the difference :laughing I would do it. The wagon would catch most of the trimmings too and save a lot of picking up.

Ideally, someone would ride the wagon bed and stack the trimmings, plus pass fresh beers to the saw operator. :laughing:

I like my cab but getting in and out to open and close gates can be a pain after a while. I'm not as nimble as I used to be.

That's why both doors to the cab have a key lock for entry! :drink:

Being stuck in an office job all day I kind of enjoy being out in the elements on my open station tractor. But yeah, if I had to make a living with my tractor the cab would be nice.

I was just the opposite, working in office most of the time and want to still be cool when on my tractor. My problem is that most of my work is with my B26 TLB and no cab on it.

The whole rear glass on my unit tilts open from the bottom so outside air is easily available though it's not like having a cross flow type breeze.

That and on LS P7010, it has a special locking mechanism that folds out about 3-4" so you can lock the doors in a slightly open position for free air movement if you don't want to run the heat or AC.
