The Only Down Side To Having A Cab...

Another drawback is having a door/window break. I was driving down a county road a few years back. I heard a loud pop and my tractors windshield crumbled down. I thought someone had taken a shot at me. That will put skid marks in ones undies.

Yup... my buddy's kubota L4310 is doorless on one side... had it open for ventilation and snagged a round bale with it... was looking the other way at the time. The sound of glass shattering got his attention quick I'm sure.

No frame to the door.... new glass is around $600+.

This is why I added glass coverage to my tractor insurance :)

Having caught one door by less than a cm while maneuvering a round bale in the barn, you pay extra attention after that 'shattering' moment. (And make sure it is closed when working in extra tight quarters)
