RK Tractor Guy,

I like the looks and price of your tractors, I really hope things take off for you, the established brands need competition. When I get the chance in my travels I will certainly look at RK. At this stage my concern would be service support. There are no RK in my area but I will be moving south in the spring, do you have stores and or service centers in FL or planned for FL?

Thank you for your comment and your wishing us success. We have eight Rural Kings in FL, seven carry a full line of RK Tractors; Gainesville, Ocala, Leesburg, Crystal River, Zephyrhills, Lake Wales and Spring Hill.

That's funny, I'm moving to Ocala/Citra.. Do you service tractors in Ocala?

I am guessing they do, this off RK website, is this the case as we speak?

RK Service

We perform service and maintenance at every Rural King store that offers RK Tractors. We have already been servicing small engine equipment in the shops located at every Rural King store. For RK Tractor stores, we’ve added experienced tractor technicians and have provided all the tools needed to perform any repair. We stock a complete inventory of spare parts at our distribution centers, and if you need a part we don’t have in stock at your RK Tractors store location, we can get it to our shops within a day.
Multi-layer Service Network

Not all tractor repairs are equal. Most can be handled without any special tools or equipment, others require that the tractor be lifted to gain access to the area being serviced. To ensure that we can handle any service need, we have deployed a multi-layer service network that includes each RK Tractor store location, our two Tractor Assembly Centers (TAC) and a team of mobile technicians that can go anywhere to perform almost any service.

The RK24 can be purchased and used with the MMM and BH, but not at the same time as the mower cannot be raised/lowered with BH attached. Not sure I致e seen anyone mow with a BH attached. 30% of our RK24 customers that buy a BH also buy the MMM.

Glad to see you are back on the forum! We've been looking at the rk37, and are debating that or the Mahindra 1526. I like that the Mahindra seems wider and more stable, although, smaller. the local rural king is offering a 50 hour used rk37 at a nice discount as it was returned because the buyer thought it was too tippy. The tractor has industrial tires, and the store offered to swap out to ag tires and said it would make it wider. But unless you can physically move the tires out, I can't see how just changing to ag tire tread would make a difference in the footprint. I'm glad the store was honest as to why he returned it but we have lots of hills here in WV and even though the Mahindra in the same price range is smaller, its making me lean towards that for that reason. My other question was on the backhoe, can the frame mount stay on and the backhoe itself come off or does the entire unit, rails and all need to come off as one piece? We have to make a decision soon as one is clearance and the other a return, but its a hard one to make!

I’m in WV as well and have plenty of hills to deal with. I ordered my RK37 with AG tires but didn’t know you could also order it with the wider stance. After reading the manual I swapped the rims around myself and gained about 6 inches per side. It makes a big difference in stability.

And to answer your other question... The backhoe comes off by removing just 2 pins and disconnecting the hydraulics. The frame mount stays on. I've had mine on and off several times and it's not hard nor does it take very long at all to do. It's a nice system that seems to work well.

Thank you very much for your interest in RK Tractors. With respect to the RK37 trade at our Parkersburg WV location, it is a trade, not a return. The customer had the hydro and decided that the shuttle was a better match to his land, which is hilly, but the trade had nothing to do with his concern about the tractor being tippy. He traded it for the same tractor, just a different transmission, and you can apply more power when needed in hilly operations. If he was concerned about it being tippy, he would not have done that. As for the R1 Ag tires being wider, they have flip-center wheels, so they can be mounted conventionally or flipped to widen the stance. If you decide to purchase that RK37 that was traded in, we are happy to provide and mount the R1s for you. Hope this info is helpful, and again, thank you for your interest.

Another Point, this is a specific RK thread. Unless further posts focus upon specific RK Matters, a new thread should be established, or an existing thread Germaine to the discussion in recent posts should be pursued. Posts should show deference to the intent of the OP .

OOOH!! Thread Police!!

Then THIS should be removed!!
Tennsawdust,

The question has been posed,
Do any of the manufacturers, provide for the simu!taneous connection of the BH subframe and a MMM.????

No one has come forward with an affirmative ans. ? Suspect if this scenario were widely desired by operators, some folks would address the mechanics to make this tandem use possible.
