I picked up a RK37 a couple weeks ago with a loader and backhoe. If anyone has any questions about it please let Me know. Thank you.

I would love to give RK tractors a try. We have a dealer not too far away. Problem is it's another relatively high, narrow, long tractor. Not good for our hills. I hope they make it. Competition is good!

How are you liking this setup?
I am also looking at the same setup at my local store.

I wouldn't take anything anyone in Circleville says as truth. First of all, these guys know NOTHING about tractors. I know. I stupidly purchased one, which they sold to me WITHOUT the usual fluids one expects when purchasing a new tractor. The tractor had about 4 hours on it when i took it home and i had another 4 on it before i checked all the fluids. When i spoke to the tractor manager at the time (early September) he told me I was the second person that day with the same problem and that they didn't have any of the same model due in until mid October. Alas, the new model came in Friday, and the tractor manager is now in a different position. i spoke to him and told him i was bringing my tractor in today. he said I could talk to the new guy since he wasn't working Sunday. Well, i dragged my tractor in (which is leaking oil out of the gear box under the seat area and they would not give me the promised tractor. Turns out their word is as good as their tractor people. hard to know if the machine is really any good. it's beefy, the hydraulics are a little overly responsive, but since mine already has a leak and it's prep wasn't properly completed it's hard to tell. don't believe a thing anyone says. if it isn't in writing, walk away. oh, and does anyone want a 24hp RK tractor for a good price? i can't wait to get rid of it.

3 whole posts in 4 years, why would u sell the tractor when there is warranty

hey, I know this is a older post but how are you still liking your rk37? Do you use it on an hills, and if so how does it do? Also have you ever taken the backhoe off? How complicated is that to do?

This poster from Wes Virginia, had some concerns regarding the loader hose routing and rear 3 point linkage on the RK 37. I submit these concerns below so that the very Proactive RK GUY shall have an opportunity to address those issues to the satisfaction of this potential buyer. Comments appear in screenshot below. I know Mike Morgan has steep grades in his property, perhaps the videos do not demonstrate the tractor in that scenario.

TYM told me today that you cannot have the belly mower and backhoe installed together on the 254. Is that an issue with the RK units?

Haven't seen the RK guy for a while either.

That is true of the RK's also. They don't have a 3-pt hook up, it's a frame mount system. Much better and stronger, though I'd imagine you'd have to unbolt the frame mount to attach the mower.

Dig,

There is no practical task application where a backhoe and MMM would be compatible in tandem use. Other than denonstrating a significant lack of experience, it is questionable why an operator would advocate the above contradiction.

Because it is likely that the BH subframe carrier would directly conflict with the mower linkage, I would question which manufacturers DO make provisions for simutaneous BH and mower operation.?

My experience w/ a MMM is that ground clearance is compromised. If fact, a compact tractor, especially a SCUT, has difficulty negotiating any ditch w/ the mower attached. If trenching, excavated material in the vicinity of the trench, and would preclude the mower's attachment even if it were permissible, given the ground clearance issue.

The ground clearance under some BH subframes, especially on kioti tractors, is a sufficient impediment without complicating and exacerbating the restriction with an installed MMM. If you have an application wherein you mow and trench simultaneously, then your tasks are indeed unique.

Further the RK Representative has NO obligation to participate in a non-corporate affiliated website. It is a courtesy and unique to RK as I've not seen any other manufacturer offer dialog in their perspective forums.

EDIT: point ignored, show us a manufacturer that provisions the MMM and subframe BH for simultaneous connection. Certain discussions are simply not worth the effort.

It's not about using them both at the same time. It's about how they're mounted and the ability to mount or dismount each or both. Removing a bolted on sub-frame is considerably more involved than simply pulling a couple of pins and switching tasks. Then there is the issue of storing the subframe when not in use. Another piece I really don't have room to deal with. I'd prefer to be able to do it as quick and simple as possible.

I also have a few tasks where I need to dig a trench for a cable over flat ground where there is no clearance issue. If I can do that half hour task without taking another half hour to switch devices, so much the better.
