Loader The loader cylinder cracked at the gland on my kubota B1750HST.

Hello! The gland broke on the hydraulic cylinder for my loader Model 1640 . It actually has original model 1640 designation, but the gland nut is throwback to earlir designations. Kubota wants 150 bucks for the gland itself, so does anyone ;offer up any advise in dealing with this situation. Is there a cheaper source of kubota parts?

That's an old enough Kub to be available in junk yards. A whole rusty cylinder
can be robbed for the gland. Other option: have it machined from scratch.

Do you have a photo of the failure?
