Baled hay with the Eagles-Rams game on in the cab.
If I had done that with you Sunday, there would not have been any straight winrows of hay. That first half HayDude... how in the world could you get work done watching that!

I love your pics and your work. Been watching a while now. I live in the Ft Washington area... so not that far - also not that close to you.

The land I work is Appalachains along the Blue Ridge Parkway in SW Virginny. I was down there last week mowing.. we do not hay... no real customers for the hay. We cut and keep the field in good shape. Keep all the Autum Olive from taking over. Whatever fool brought that plant to Virginny ought to be hung by their cahoonies!

More mowing today. Dreary weather may be moving out soon.
I’m getting sort of close to the end of second cutting in terms of hay mowing.
Still a lot of raking & baling to go

Stopped for a pee break and snapped a photo of the 7495 & Pottinger mowers from the outside this time. Dreary, but no real rainfall.

More raking & baling action today. I feel like I can see the end now.

But first, I had to deliver a bale of feed hay to a long time customer.

Now back to raking & baling.
Here I am finishing up a corner in the upper field. Notice the field about 200’ lower than this one? I will be baling that one next.

Now heading down the path through the woods to the lower field.
This Customer owns 350 acres. About 150 is hay fields, which I have the privilege of farming for her. An extremely wealthy, old money family.

And now down in the lower field baling.

Another day finished. Will continue tomorrow.

That limb in the roadway looks like it's abit low.
It’s higher than it looks because the elevation keeps dropping.

Ever be in a field baling along woods edge and a nice big green walnut falls on the cab roof? lol
Scares the crap out of you!
