I use a magic marker to draw a line on all my various chainsaw bars 16" back from the tip for cutting rounds since it's my preferred cut length. It makes for a quick reference no matter what length bar I happen to be cutting with. Usually I'm pretty close anyway but sometimes my eye is off a bit so it's nice to have a reference handy.

Tried it, the mark erased quickly. I just drilled a 1/4" hole 16" from the tip. Works better for me

I have seen a bucket truck operator leave a can of Spagettios on his defroster while working
By lunchtime the steam rolled out when he opened the can. Of course they still were Spagettios....

Loved SkettiOs as a kid. It was about the only thing my babysitter could fix and not mess it up.
Had a can the other day for the memories.
