My dad.

Came across him on the way home as he was heading out to buy some snacks LOL.

The glasses sitting on his nose have to be older than I am, and that has to be from the 50's or very early 60's.

Heck, the guy has more hair on his head than I have on mine.

Whats funny is "us" dads never tell our sons in my case 4 , everything we have done so when they get caught or are in trouble they don't or can't say "well you did it also" !

Cool? Where's his 1955 Chevy Bel Air, or his 1970 Chevelle? Just kidding. He has the only late model 2dr hdtp I have ever seen...oh, BTW, I have two pair of those vintage Ray Bans in my drawer.

It's just funny when an 88 year old is explaining to two 14 year olds about an "opportunity curve" when he's driving.

With those older cars, the front seat was "one big flat seat" between driver and passenger doors, and no one wore seat belts. When you were driving with a girl you liked, if she was sitting away from you, when the curve in the road went left to right, you accelerated, and the girl, by the laws of physics, would slide right to your side so she was next to you.

When you watched his old 8mm films in Paris, the only thing you would see is the legs of all the different women walking across the street. That said, he knew my mom at age 18, but it wasn't until he traveled the world with the air force until they got married more than 10 years later. 40 years married, and my mom died.

I'll need to ask him when this pic was taken, but if you look real close at the girls around the table, you'll know who my future mother is. Don't think they were of legal age, and looks to beer at the table. Same cool guy is the one on the left with the badage on his left thumb.

I consider myself even more fortunate that we were blessed that he could start living with us last year. I only hope that my two teens have the same feeling about me when I get that old. Right now, sometimes, I'm not feeling the love with my own boys LOL

My one boy is the person my mother told me "just wait, sooner or later, you're going to get yours" . When my boy asks me in a serious tone "dad, didn't you once do it", I really have to keep my mouth shut.
