Thanksgiving

Well now that it is officially thanksgiving (well at least for us on the east coast, you westerners still have some time on the clock:laughing I thought I'd start a thread.

So what are you thankful for this wonderful thanksgiving?

Thankful that my family has the means to contribute to charities that help folks that aren't as fortunate.

I'm thankful for parents, grandparents, and inlaws that taught important values by their actions and how they lived. Although they are all gone, I'm thankful that today i'll be having dinner with my daughter,son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law-to-be, and grandchildren, to whom I do my darndest to pass on those values.

Finally, I'm grateful that my bride of 32 years seems to put up less and less resistance to new acquisitions of tools and equipment. Heck, she even let me buy her a new chainsaw this year!

Family , friends , the gathering & food today , our Lord , freedom to worship , our country , our veterans , this website and the people on it , my business , my daughter graduating high school and getting a head start on college , my TRACTOR and the material things I have worked for , for me and my family , being healthy .... and the list can go on and on .... I'm thankful for my son's arrival home from college in Nashville, TN & my daughter's arrival from college in Moorhead, MN. I'm thankful for my dad's 93 years he had on this earth. I'm thankful for the rest of the family that is even now arriving. I'm thankful for the hard work and sacrifice of our veterans (3 years in Africa & Italy, '42-'45 for my dad) (2 years and counting for my nephew) that help keep our country safe and the most wonderful place to live that this world has ever known. And my tractor of course.
