I currently am in the process of buying my first tractor as a result of moving onto acreage (6 acres, w/800' easement. 1/2 landscaped-1/2 forested). I am extremely impressed with the discussion here and what it has added to my knowledge base. I have learned more here in 2 days than in 2 months on my own at dealers. At some dealers I often know more than the poor fellow attempting the sale! I wont reinvent the wheel as the BX23 vs 7510 thread provoked me to ask all the right questions. I'll post my own birth announcement on delivery day and yes, I'll toss in some pictures. Thanks to all

Seefyre, The really neat thing about this site is that is is timeless. I lurked for a few months then demoed then started posting. The dealer was impressed with my question and said that only about one in a hundred ask such informed questions.

The next stages of tractor ownership will be operation, modifications, maintenance, shelter, tools, implements, repairs, etc.. . Someone here has already figured out the best and is ready to share their wealth of knowledge. And of course there is alway the new posters just starting to look into tractor ownership and they all bring a little more knowledge and experience with them to this site.
