The dog and I are on the back porch drinking coffee and watching the fog lift on this cool morning. Sending thank you notes to our family and friends that served. Thank you for our freedom.

In southern Oregon, just across the border from Nevada, is the crash site of a B-24 bomber that went down during a training mission during WWII. Difficult to get to but there is a memorial to the crew. In this shot one of the engines is festooned with flags; among other debris can be seen a landing gear and another engine up by my quad.
