Wanted to check out a Ventract machine and had the opportunity to test a new 4520 Pro. It was set up with the Kubota liquid cooled gas engine. The tractor had single wheels set up and no attachments. Drove around the dealer lot and behind the building on some rougher ground. I felt it did a poor job of absorbing bumps even with the optional suspension seat installed. Overall liked the machine and had them price it out with Tough Cut deck, and 72" finish side discharge deck.
Been using an Altoz 766 i to mow my horse pasture for 5 years and currently smoked the PTO clutch bracket and waiting for parts so wanted to check out some options.

Seems the Ventracts should put a 4' taller tire to smooth out the ride and get additional ground clearance.
I was surprised on the cost of the setup with two decks!

I recently looked at the radio controlled unit. My dealer said those only come in the Kubota engine.

I've had the fantasy of remote controlling my lawn mower since I was a teen.

I wanted to try the "rope from the post to the mower" idea, but dad said the big circle would look stupid. Looking back on it, dad clearly was not the visionary that I am.

Back in the coolest time for chairs, the 70's, we had a chair in the living room that looked like a large egg and it was made from wicker. The egg chair was suspended from the ceiling with a chain. It was basically my chair since most adults were frightened to sit it in because of how unsafe it looked, but I didn't care. Point being, I've though a version of that would be cool on the Ventrac. A bar could be extended from the ROPS and the seat could be suspended by a chain from the top. This would allow for the chair to move with the slopes. Could add a shock absorber to the chain. I doubt my dad would have approved.

The dealer I spoke to told me of the upcharges for the options I need like the 3 pt hitch and the switching hyd package. But I would guess that the 4520 would be about 30k for the baseline and 5k a piece for the mowers.
