Drove one yesterday and noticed two things I didnt like.
1st, no linked pedal to throttle.
2nd, the hydrostatic drive had a huge whine and you could feel it in the hydrostatic pedal up through my leg.
When I returned home I saw a Craigslist ad for another dealer and called him.
He said it shouldnt have whined. He thought the relief valve was out of adjustment and that they were very thorough on their inspections and predelivery.

i have a xr4140h and i was surprised at how quiet it was, none of that annoying whine at all except in high range but even that is minimal with a full load of wood going down the road. my old Jd had a terrible whine but i was an early hydro. The linked hydro/ throttle is nice but can be lived without. nice to keep these engines hot. i find i like to keep the rpms up even with lighter work, you always have the power there when you need it and saves potential dpf problems down the road.

The throttle pedal is on the shuttle shift model. One reason I went with that model.
