I would love to have a copy of the manual for a T3....I just bought a 1970s terramite.....The hydraulic tank is built into the right side of the front frame and the loader levers are mounted above that { no thru the front dash} . My battery is mounted under the seat.

Does this canister that is attached to the hydro pump have some type of screen filter inside it that needs to be periodically cleaned/replaced ?
It looks like there is about 6-8 bolts on the front side of it that hold the housing to the face of the transmission ?

the transmission is in the left of your pic and the drive axle is in the right of your pic. that canister is the hydraulic motor that drives the rear axle. fluid controled by the foot pedal goes into and out of those two hoses. if you swapped those hoses you'll notice your travel controls are reversed.
Ty...so that canister does not contain any type of filter/ screen on the inside that needs periodic cleaning ? I only ask because on page 18 of the parts manual you emailed me, it looks like the photo shows a similar canister that can be taken apart to clean a metal screen inside of it....

on pg 18 what you thought was the part#2 is part #9. i think that part#2 is also gone on yours and you have a modern filter. looks like the red object at the top of your picture. feel free to post more pictures if you need anything explained out.
Ty...I do have a modern screw hydraulic filter...and also the metal screen hydraulic filter at the end of the hydraulic tank...
I guess that is the only 2 filters in the whole hydraulic system then..ty
