Ten year makeover.

My snow plow is in my tractor's bucket. Last year I got into a bad habit of removing the snow from my side by side with a careful eye and gentle feather of the joystick. Until things went wrong. I twitched and busted up the plastic hood. Before that the brush guard got ripped off pulling it out of a snowbank. It was a tough winter for the old girl. Notice the green duct tape in the snow picture.

She is a 2007 Bush Hog Trailhand 4400. She is a workhorse, under powered but built like a tank. After fiberglassing the hood I got the Rustoleum Camo Paint pack. My wife and I gathered local flora and painted her up. After that I put the roof cover on which will eventually be painted as well. The thin and flexible plastic came from Home Depot and needed the subframe support. My wife then got marine vinyl cloth at Joanne's and we reupholstered the seat which had been ripped up. Doing the seat was the hardest part - we were not very good at it without a sewing machine to help. Overall,we are pretty happy with how she came out.

Oh I forgot. The windshield is 1/4 inch acrylic (lexan was too expensive). The splicing piece is aluminum from a greenhouse supply company.

I think the upholstery job looks great...and the paint job is fantastic!
