Telescoping Draft Links

My JD 4500 has the solid draft links and my neighbor's New Holland has telescopic draft links. We share implements so I'm regularly unhooking implements from his tractor or hooking up to implements that he's left sitting near the barn. I'll be visiting my JD dealer soon to outfit my 4500 with a set. It makes hooking and unhooking implements much less physical and a lot quicker.

You don't want telescoping draft links!!!!

They'll do you no good at all!!!!

You definitely don't need them on a J.D.!!!!!

I have a different model JD so I probably wouldn't be competition anyway. So, how many dollars did the dealer want for the replacement draft links? I haven't had a chance to check. I often change implements without help and need some relief.

I paid a little over $200. for mine.

If you order them on the tractor from the beginning, they're around $130.00. If you buy them later, they're $208.00. Since my tractor is so new, the dealer said he'd take my links in trade and sell them to me for $165.00.
