Telescopic Stabilizers

Has anyone ever had a problem with the telescoping stabilizers breaking (on B-models )? They look like a real work saver , but also maybe one more thing to break. Just curious.

I am sure someone's telescopic stabilizers have broke or have been damaged, but I have no persoanl knowledge of it happening.

On my bx2200, both turnbuckle stabilizers broke, so I "upgraded" to the telescopic stabilizers and have been working great. The modification cost about $50 or so.

I upgraded to the telescopic stabilizers and I really beat them up with the chipper (weighs almost 500 lbs), trailer hitch adapter, and a weight box. I try to keep everything tight but there are a few rough spots on my property that really cause anything on the 3pt to bang around....

I have had my stabilizers installed for two and a half years. No problems to date.

After breaking the chains on my B7610, I replaced them with the telescoping bars. I have been quite happy with the replacement set-up. Here is a link to a thread where I describe the change from chains to telescoping stabalizer bars..

I bent one of mine on my B3030. I have no idea what I did. I took it off, bent it back, painted it, and put it back on, good as new. I wish I new what I did.
