Tc40d FEL hydraulic issue

Hey folks, question...I'm an old "first timer" with a tractor. Bought used tc40d in '13, and it's been a good one. However as with anything getting older, it has issues. 2 new hyd filters, new fluid, but won't pick up a round bale any more. I've read some threads about suction screens. Where are they located? And is it something a "dyi'er" can do?.

If suction screen is plugged the pump would be noisy and sound like a rock crusher.

Could be seals leaking on one lift cylinder or system relief is opening a little to soon. A pressure gauge would answer that question

Does curl seem to have same force as always? If yes then that points towards a lift cylinder seal leaking internally

You post leads me to think you're using the three point to move bales. Yes/no. Maybe a basic system pressure test might be in order here?
