Oil & Fuel TC33DA Leaking Oil

I believe I noticed the small puddle after about 100 hours; I now have close to 400 hours on the tractor. Itｴs funny in that it doesn't consistently produce the small 1-2" puddle. For instance, when I took the picture there was no sign of a puddle and the tractor has been parked in the same place for more than a week. I'll keep an eye on it, but I guess I'm hoping as long as it doesn't grow into something that I need a yard stick to measure I'm ok.

Just pray it does not let go and empty the contents onto the grass as you are working it and you do'nt notice the slick . I put up with a couple of drips from my 1942 Massey Harris but would not from a near new tractor with those low hours on it .

If his HST pukes it's oil out.. he won't have to 'notice' the slick.. the sucker just won't move anymore...

If your at 400 hours now and it hasn't gotten any worse, good chance it'll be fine. Some seals have a tendency to sweat a little. Component tolerances and temperature can also affect the frequency/severity of a leak.

If it was mine, I might give that cotter pin a twist every now and the just to be sure the ~sweat~ isn't collecting dust and clogging the hole. This way I'd know for sure if it was something to worry about.
