TC33 and 6ft rotary?

Try checking out LandPride's website; locate rotary cutters. They provide the recommended horsepower for the rotary cutter.
TC33 and 6 ft cutter may be okay; but it depends on what you're cutting. You get into heavy weeds, hay or whatnot and it will bog down the engine.
Just my experience on a TN65 and I have a 6 ft cutter.

the TC33 is 33 gross HP and 27 PTO hp...
so I'd say a 72 was marginal at best?
My ground is flat, mostly pasture, and never very tall...Seems like a 6' finish mower wouldn't be as taxing on the TC33.

- RK 55HC,ym1700, NH7610S, Ford 8N, 2N, NAA, 660, 850 x2, 541, 950, 941D, 951, 2000, 3000, 4000, 4600, 5000, 740, IH 'C' 'H', CUB, John Deere 'B', allis 'G', case VAC
That has roughly the same HP as a 1953/1954 ford NAA.. and it was rated for a 6' cutter.. if you get into heavy stuff.. just take a 5' bite.
The guy with the 65 hp tractor and 6' mower can probably cut stands of 2.5" stuff with that much extra hp..
