TC30 HST ???

I'm looking at a TC 30 w/550 hours on it...it has the HST transmission... when I push on the hydro pedal it makes a little screach before it gets goin'...in forward or reverse...in H M, or L...all the gears...it just makes the little screach....is that normal?

That could be normal if your engine is at idle, when it does not make much power. Try it a 2000RPM or so, if you are not already.
